Architect Renzo Piano’s glass tower building in Miami Beach will be his first residential project in the U.S.

Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano recently unveiled plans for a glass-sheathed tower in Miami Beach. Eighty Seven Park, which is his first residential project in the U.S., will be constructed along the Atlantic Ocean in Miami’s North Beach district. The building will rise 17 stories and contain 70 apartments, all featuring wrap-around
balconies with beautiful views of the water. Units will range in size from 1,400 to 7,000 square feet.

The property includes a private pool with views of the ocean, as well as cabanas for its residents to enjoy. Behind the pool is a shaded outdoor bar where the stool chairs will be set up for patrons to to enjoy and a shaded outdoor bar. The building is expected to completed in 2018.
